First, take pride in what you write and learn to spell and/or proof read your text. It just takes a minute but it makes a huge difference to your audience and what they think of you. Second, while in high school, study math, engineering, computer science / programming, and take classes in all of the sciences – physics, astronomy, geology, biology and chemistry.
