Phil McGraw, known simply as Dr. Phil on TV, is a psychologist and author who was able to build a loyal following, thanks in part to his association with talk show host Oprah Winfrey. Dr. Phil has been able to increase his popularity as a TV personality through his own program and through a series of best selling self help books.
