How Do You Become An Army Nurse?
The U.S. Army is in desperate need of quality nurses. Because of this need, they are currently investing a lot of money in recruiting nurses. Whether you are thinking about a career in nursing, or already are a nurse, the Army wants you. Step 1 Get accepted to a nursing degree program. Step 2 Talk with your campus’ ROTC program director about nursing scholarships and ROTC opportunities. The ROTC offers two-year, three-year and four-year nursing scholarships, however, in order to qualify for them you will need to join the ROTC. If selected, you will have your nursing career paid for and you will be given the opportunity to train at an Army medical center in the U.S. or in Germany. Step 3 Complete one or more Nursing Summer Programs put on by the Army. During these training programs you will work with one of the many international Army medical centers in the U.S. and Germany.
