How do you become an interior decorator?

I am a certified interior decorator. The classes that I took were very simple and easy. I went through PCDI.com (I don’t know if they are still around). It is an accredited school, and it is all basically open book tests, and VERY little math (very basic and easy). Once you finish the courses (at your own pace) then you will be certified to be an interior decorator. BUT if you are wanting to get a degree in interior design, it will probably require more math, but you would be much more prepared to do the profession. It would be a 4 year degree and you would have to go to a school that has it as a degree program.
