How Do You Become An Oklahoma Farm Bureau Agent?
The Oklahoma Farm Bureau offers a variety of insurance policies for bureau members. The people who sell these policies and work directly with the large customer base are known as agents. These agents currently work in 77 different countries, including the U.S. and if you’re interested, you can become an agent as well. Step 1 Receive a four-year college degree in business or a related field such as marketing. While it isn’t required that you have a college degree, you’ll find it helpful when applying for jobs. Step 2 Take the pre-certification course offered in your state. This course is offered through the Department of Insurance and asks basic questions about how insurance companies work and ethics relating to insurance. Step 3 Wait for your license to arrive in the mail. If you’ve passed the pre-certification test, then the license will arrive in the mail.
