How Do You Build A Bird Flight?

0

A bird flight is made to keep a large amount of birds with enough room for them to fly. The easiest type of bird flight to build is made from several screen door frames that are connected together. Using screen door frames saves time and money as the construction is already done for you. Place the screen door face down on the ground. Remove any screws that may be holding down the molding. Tear the screen out of the screen door and discard. Apply paint or stain to the screen door frame if you desire. Apply several coats and allow it to dry thoroughly. Finish with at least two coats of water-based polyurethane to preserve the wooden screen door. Cut the Lucite or wire to the size of the wooden frame. Secure the Lucite to the frame with screws and predrilled holes. Secure the wire with a staple gun. Repeat to make as many panels as you need for the bird flight. The amount of panels will depend upon the size of the bird flight. Lay two of the panels side by side, flush against each other.
