Nowadays you can opt to build a mortarless block fence by using different interlocking blocks available in the market. Determine the location of the wall panel or block fence that you are going to build. Mark the locations using yard sticks. Dig a trench on the soil about 3 inches (75 mm) dip and 7 inches (178 mm) wide. Place crushed rocks or gravel 3 inches (75 mm) dip. Use a hand tamper to compact the gravel and soil beneath it. The soil should be of good compact material such as clay soil. If you have organic soil or loose soil underneath, you would have to remove it and replace with additional crushed rocks or gravel for stability. Check the trench if it is level.
