How Do You Build A Display Easel?

0

This easel was built to display my Wind Chimes. Can be used for most any type display item. I used a good quality straight pine board. Measure and cut boards to specified lengths. The 72″ boards are the front, the 48″ are to be attached with the hinges as the back legs. Stain or paint before putting together. When dry fasten 72″ boards with a 12″ board between. One at top, one 24″ from top and the third 12″ board at bottom. I used a metal flat bracket for extra support at each corner using wood screws. Fasten 48″ boards to back with hinges. I put a spacer piece of wood at the top, middle and bottom of the front area that the peg board was to be attached. This will make all peg holes usable. When front and back are together and peg board attached to front, add two cup screws to inside of each leg. Fasten chain to keep the legs from spreading too far.
