How Do You Build A Half Pipe Or Ramp?

0

Take control of your skateboarding by building your own half pipe or ramp so you can ride when you want, practice your tricks uninterrupted and be the envy of the neighborhood. Take the time to do the job correctly and you’ll have your own personal skateboard half pipe that’s every bit as good as the pros. Determine the size of the half pipe or ramp you want to build. Consider your construction skills as well as the space where your half pipe or your ramp will go. Construct the frame work first. Build two frames of equal size for a half pipe or just one for a ramp. Cut plywood sheets to create the curve and attach it to the side of the frame. Cut two for a ramp and four for a half pipe. Cut one and use it as a template for the others to ensure accuracy. Frame-in the curves by screwing in 2-by-4’s across the curve. You’ll make the entire structure much sturdier. Add more plywood to the top to finish the basic structure of your half pipe. Cut the sheets so they butt up against each other
