The easiest box to build is a sealed box. You can build a ported box but there is more work involved. Sealed box are simple. Purchase some 3\4inch MDF (medium density fiber) to construct the box from. You are going to need a table saw or skill saw to cut the sheet of MDF and a jig saw or roto tool to cut the holes. You do not want to use plywood or particle board it is too weak for those woofers. You want to design a box within Kickers recommended specs. when it comes to sealed boxes the larger the box the deeper the bass response. Once you have your box demensions cut the MDF and screw it together. I use “liquid nails” brand caulk on all the joints before I screw them together. Use drywall or wood screws and pre drill the holes or the screw might split the MDF. When you are done you can carpet the box to match your interior just use some spray adhesive.
