How Do You Build A Longboard?
If you have ever wanted a longboard that is truly your own, building one is a great option. When you build a longboard, it’s usually cheaper than buying one, too, making building your own a great option. • Gather your materials. You will need some Birch Plywood, some really great adhesive, Rough and Fine sandpaper, screws, a drill, weights, Polyurethane Varnish, and a large piece of paper and a pencil for drawing out your board. • Cut your plywood to size. Generally, this means you need 2 pieces of 1/4in BB plywood or 4-6 pieces of 1/8in BB plywood, approximately 30cm by 150cm. • Draw out your board’s shape. Take your paper and draw a straight line close to one end. This will be the center of your board. Now draw one half of the board against this line. If this is your first board, keep things simple.
