How Do You Build A Portable Washer Toss Game?

Learn how to build a washer game box. Measure and cut eight 17″ long sections of the 2×4’s. These will be used to create your boxes. Cut the ends of each 17″ piece at a 45 degree angle (making the inside dimension of each section 14″). Nail or glue the pieces together to make a square. Take the 13.5″x13.5″ plywood and line it up with the square you made with the 2x4s and nail it to the bottom to create a base. Use glue to secure the 4″ diameter PVC pipe (4″ long) to the center of the plywood in the box you just made. (Optional) Add latches to two sides of the one of the boxes and latch keepers to the other box to mate (so that the plywood sides are on the outside) and a handle for easier storage and carrying around. (Optional) You can paint the washers to differentiate the teams. Each team gets 3 washers. Paint 3 washers in red and 3 in blue.
