Wooden toy boxes are classic childhood staples as well as sturdy containers for your child’s best-loved toys. Toy boxes nowadays don’t have the same feeling of personality and warmth that the old handmade ones did, so making your own wooden toy box is a project well worth your time and effort. Luckily, with a few scraps of wood, some tools and a little guidance, the project doesn’t require a lot of time and effort. Nail two 2-foot by 4-foot boards together to form a long “L” shape, making sure that the pieces line up across their entire length.
