You can complete the project in less than an hour if you have the right materials. Select a small ceramic planter at least 4 inches deep that doesn’t have drainage holes. You can find decorative planters at home stores and yard sales. If you find a planter that you like but it has drainage holes, seal them with plumber’s putty or silicone. Place the fountain pump in the center of the planter. Look for submersible fountain pumps at your local garden or home store, or online. Purchase a fountainhead to fit the pump. Paint the electrical cord to match the inside of the planter. Let the paint dry. Attach the fountainhead to the pump. Extend the fountainhead to just above the top of the planter. If your planter is too deep for the fountainhead to extend past the rim, add a brick to the planter and place the pump on the brick. Run the electrical
