How Do You Build A Swimming Pool Slide?
If you are trying to figure out how to build a slide for your swimming pool, here is an easy way to accomplish that task. Have fun! First set up your ladder near the deep end of the pool and position your plastic slide at the top of the ladder. Adjust the position of the ladder so that once your slide is attached to your ladder the slide hangs over the edge of the pool about 3 inches. Secure your ladder to the ground. Depending on the type of surface you have around your pool you may want to use lag bolts for wood decks, concrete anchors for concrete or cool decking or rebar stakes if the surface is grass or dirt. Once your ladder is secured and will not wobble or move, not attach your slide. Attaching the slide to the ladder will require the use of carriage bolts, they have the rounded heads, which will be the side that faces out on the surface of the slide.
