There is a private concessionary that runs to the island twice a day in the summer and once a day in the winter. You may camp on the island for a maximum of seven days. You must bring everything with you. There are not any stores or services on the island. Bicycles are not allowed on the ferry. Also, the ferry cannot be used to re-supply campers. Use the designated walking trails on the dunes. Only 120 campers are allowed in the park per night. There are more than 50 miles of hiking trails. Be sure to bring your boots if you plan on hiking.
