How Do You Care For A Betta Bowl With A Plant?
Betta fish are majestic and flowing fish, known also as Siamese fighting fish because they are very aggressive and territorial. For this reason, it is recommended only one fish be placed per bowl, and each bowl should hold about a gallon and a half of water. Any plants that are used in the Betta bowl must be hydroponic plants. These plants will feed off of the waste produced by the fish. Fill the Betta bowl with water. Put pebbles in the bowl after rinsing them. Do this by running the pebbles under tap water to clear out debris and dust. Let the container sit overnight to allow the water to become room temperature. Put the Betta in the bowl and put the plant on top of the water, with the roots in the water. Feed the Betta a small amount after 24 hours.
