This frog is one of the most successful frogs in nature because it has a unique skin that allows it to retain moisture. White’s tree frogs are great for beginners but they will still require fairly extensive care from a dedicated owner. Provide your frog with an enclosure that is at least 20 gallons. Also get a locking screen top for the aquarium. Cover the bottom of the cage with a substrate that will help you maintain a high humidity level in the aquarium. Peat moss, orchid bark and mulch make great substrates. Place several large climbing branches in the aquarium. They should be at least as wide as your frog.
