How Do You Care For Healthy Syrian Hamsters?
• Get a cage for your hamster. Make sure your hamster has plenty of room to roam around. In the cage include: • Food for your hamster. (Hamster food, vegetables, etc…) • Water for your hamster. (Make sure it’s filtered so it doesn’t have any chemicals that could harm your hamster). • Toys for your hamsters. (Chew toys, paper towel rolls, etc…) • Feed your hamsters daily. Get on a routine and daily time in which you’re always available to feed your Syrian hamster. • Make a calender so you know when to feed. • Do the same with water. • Play with your pets. • Take them out of their cage and play with them for 5-10 minutes daily. • Keep another chart for this purpose. • Schedule vet appointments so that you can keep track of the health of your Syrian hamster. • Have information on the vet you’re going to so you know what to expect. Go outside with your hamster. • Rope off a area so that you can bring your hamster outside.
