The battery has two wires connected to it, a positive and a negative. Both need to be removed using a socket wrench. Disconnect the alternator’s four-prong connector. It is connected to the rear end of the alternator. Disconnect the terminal nut from the alternator, also located at the back, with a socket wrench.
