Airsoft guns duplicate the experience of a real weapon by being constructed in the same fashion as the weapon they are based on. Airsoft gun parts that are made of plastic can develop cracks and require replacement if the gun is to continue being used. A defective barrel in an MP5 airsoft gun can be replaced with one from another MP5 or a similarly-styled airsoft gun, once the MP5 gun has been disassembled. You will need a few hardware tools in order to disassemble the MP5 airsoft gun so that the barrel can be removed and replaced. Put a bath towel down on a table. Put the MP5 airsoft gun down on its side on the bath towel with the barrel facing to the left. Remove the screws from the top edge by the barrel, the middle top edge and the back edge by the hammer of the MP5 airsoft gun using the Phillips screwdriver. Remove the screws from the bottom front edge, in front and behind the trigger guard and at the back bottom edge of the MP5 airsoft gun using the Phillips screwdriver. Lift off
