How do you change the belt on Zanussi FJ1033 washing machine?

I would like to know how to change the belt on a Zanussi FJ1033 washing machine. I have removed the top of the machine and flipped it on its side so I can access the motor. However, the belt is too tight to pull over the drum wheel and the space is too tight to work in. Any suggestions welcome.
