How Do You Change The Default Download Location In Google Chrome?
When you use the Google Chrome web browser to download files it automatically downloads all files to a default location. It does not give you the option to select the download location when you start your download. If you would like to save your files in a different place you must specify the location prior to starting your download. The steps below describe the process involved in changing the default download location. Open the Google Chrome web browser. In the upper right hand corner there will be an icon that looks like a wrench. Click the icon and select “options”. The menu box that pops up will have three tabs. Switch to the tab labeled “Minor Tweaks”. The top section of Minor Tweaks is the download location area. Select browse and find the area that you would like to save your downloaded files. You can also manually type it in if you know the correct path. If in the future you would like to save your downloaded files in different locations, check the “Ask where to save each file
