How Do You Change The Head Lamp On A Chrysler Sebring Convertible?

0

Changing head lamps in your Chrysler Sebring convertible is inevitable. Halogen capsule bulbs are used on the Sebring that insert inside the head light assembly. Once the bulbs burn out, you have to access them from the engine compartment. The capsules burn brighter, hotter and last longer than the old-fashioned full unit sealed head lamps, but changing them isn’t quite as easy. Open the hood to the Sebring convertible ensuring the head lamp switch is in the “Off” position. Remove the two head light assembly retaining screws located at the top of the assembly using a ratchet and suitable socket. Pry the plastic retaining clips away from the head light assembly. If necessary, use a slotted screwdriver for leverage. Wiggle the assembly out of its cavity. It is still retained by guide pins that need to be pried out of position. Be careful not to scratch the lens or paint on the bumper. Also, don’t pull too far once the assembly is unseated. Harness wires are still attached to the head lam
