How Do You Charge Trolling Motor Batteries?

0

A trolling motor enables a boat to move around on the water very slowly and quietly. Fishermen can reach areas populated by fish without startling them. You must regularly charge your trolling motor batteries to avoid having them lose power while out on the water. Locate the two red wires coming out of the 100-amp battery combiner. Run one of the red wires from the combiner to the starting battery. The starting battery is located in your boat’s outboard motor body. Connect the combiner wire to the starting battery via the positive charge outlet of the battery. The positive charge outlet is the side that also has a red wire on it. Take the second red wire from the combiner and lead it to the trolling battery. The trolling battery is housed within your boat’s trolling motor body. Attach the second combiner wire to the trolling battery again through the positive charge of the trolling battery. Start the boat’s engine and keep the engine running. This will recharge the trolling battery.
