After that, you can connect to your POP3 email server and receive messages. Follow these steps to check POP3 email on a Treo Smartphone using VersaMail. Go to “Applications” on your Treo smartphone and select “VersaMail” to configure the device to check POP3 email. Access the “Account Setup” screen and open “Select Accounts.” Choose “Account Setup.” Punch the “New” button at the bottom of the “Account Setup” screen. Name the account in the proper field–for example “Poodle News”–and head down to the “Mail Service” list. Choose your email server by picking the “Other” option and filling in information as needed.
