How do you cite an Askville source in a research paper?

Personal communication would work, but I’d tend to use the websites that people send links to you for. If you do use the PC label, you need to know their name. If you PM the people who you want to use, I’m sure they’d be helpful. You can use websites, there are ways for citing them, but I wouldn’t count them on my required number of “official” resources unless they’re the offical website for something… like the AA website if your paper was on AA. Make sure you cover your butt for the required, and then use the online stuff as extra. If you can’t find a source, I wouldn’t put information in. Here’s the website I use to do APA. I can never remember the punctuation… Sources: http://owl.english.purdue.
