How Do You Clarify Lentil Soup Stock?

0

“we strained our soup our vegetable stock and as you can see there’s a lot of bits and pieces in it now that’s fine to use and if you and especially for the lentil soup that it’s a thick soup, this is fine to use. But if your going to use the vegetable stock for something else and you want a clear stock then you can restrain it with a straining cloth or 2 to 3 layers of cheese cloth. Now if you wet the straining cloth the cheese cloth before it’s a little easier to put in your colander and you just fit it into your colander like that, you can use a cheese cloth. This is a straining cloth and then you restrain the stock through the cheese cloth or the straining cloth and you’ll see you’ll get a nice clear stock, it takes a little bit longer to strain it because it’s going through the finer holes, then a regular colander.
