How Do You Clean A Bug Zapper?
When you’re outdoors swimming or having a barbecue, your bug zapper is hard at work zapping insects that otherwise may bite you, eat your food or be a pest. Once the bug zapper electrocutes the insects that fly into it, pieces of insects stick inside the unit, and eventually needs to be cleaned by applying these steps. Unplug the bug zapper unit to avoid being electrocuted. Always clean the unit when it is not connected to a power source, or you might get zapped like a bug. Brush debris from the cage and bottom of the unit with the soft brush. Take your time, and make sure you brush all the debris free. Use a vacuum to suck the debris from the shocking grid. Blow the debris off the shocking grid with canned air as an alternative to using a vacuum.
