Many vacuum cleaners are equipped with HEPA filters as a way to reduce allergens in the air. HEPA filters clean the air discharged from the vacuum and remove mold spores, tiny particulate matter and other allergens from the air. Eventually, the HEPA filters can become clogged and need to be replaced. In some cases, you can clean the filter rather than replacing it. Consider checking the HEPA filter and cleaning it between filter replacements. Remove the dirt cup from your Eureka vacuum cleaner and empty it into the garbage. Set the dirt cup aside.
