Cleaning your Kawasaki Ninja 500 is a simple task, but for a sparkling clean bike, a certain process must be used. Following a few steps, your Ninja can be shining like new in no time at all. Pull your Ninja onto your lawn or other flat cleaning surface. Place the bike on its center stand and, if the bike is on grass, brace the side of the stand with a log or brick. When the grass gets wet from the washing, the stand tends to sink into the ground and the bike tips over. Pre-rinse the entire bike with a garden hose. Make sure to get under the fenders and try to loosen any mud and dirt. Dip one of your rags in the hot, soapy water and begin washing the tail section of the bike.
