No one likes a streaky bathroom mirror. However, mirrors in the bathroom are more susceptible to streaks and stains because of steamy showers. Ammonia-based cleaners certainly do the trick, but there is a more natural solution to this problem. A mixture of water and borax provides a streak-free shine that has the added bonus of being better for the environment and human beings. Rinse the spray bottle and nozzle thoroughly with hot water and liquid dish soap, particularly if it is a recycled bottle that contained a different cleaning product. Let the spray bottle air dry. Pour 2 tbsp of borax and 3 cups of warm water into the spray bottle. Screw on the spray nozzle and shake to combine. Spray the borax solution onto the dirty mirror. Immediately wipe clean with a soft towel or cloth, being sure to focus of any spots that appear streaky. Repeat the process if streaks remain.
