How Do You Clean A Remote Control?
• Wipe the remote control over gently with a damp cloth that has been dipped in rubbing alcohol. Make sure the cloth is completely wrung out before using. • Use the cloth to remove any stubborn build-up stains. Place the tip of one finger under the cloth and work away at the stain until it comes off. • Be especially careful around the buttons; wipe gently to avoid any potential for knocking them out of place. To get in between the buttons, a cotton swab works best. Dip this into the rubbing alcohol as well. • Wipe over with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove any final specks and to dry off the remote. Keep the remote covered when not in use. A small covered box (tight-fitting lid) is a great idea for storing remotes when not in use. This keeps them out of the way, easy to find, and not attracting dust while they’re in it!
