How Do You Clean A Set-In Juice Stain From A Carpet?
Juice stains are a fairly common problem in many households, especially if you have small kids running around. Often you don’t notice a stain until long after the stain incident has happened, and the stain has had a chance to set and dry. Because of the colors inherent in juice stains, they can be particularly difficult to remove. With a little elbow grease and some basic household supplies and cleaning agents, you can effectively remove set in juice stains on carpet. Saturate the set in juice stain with water. Soak up as much of the water as possible with paper towels. Pour some club soda directly on the stain and let set for a couple of seconds. Blot the stain again with paper towels. Saturate the stain with water again, and completely blot up the liquid with paper towels. Mix one quarter of a teaspoon of dishwashing soap in one quart of water in a small bucket.
