Brush any loose dust and dirt from your your chairs with a soft bristle paint brush. Be sure to brush the bottom of the seat and between the lats, which are the individual pieces of wood in your chair.Liberally dampen your cloth with full strength wood cleaner. You can find cleaners with natural oils that are specially formulated for wood at the supermarket or home improvement store.Turn your chair upside down on the edge of the table and clean the legs, braces and underside of your chair by wiping them with the cloth. Reapply the cleaner when you notice that the wood is not darkening in color. The oils in the cleaner will temporarily darken the wood. Be sure to apply cleaner around the spindles and wood joints to prevent the wood and wood glue form drying and cracking.Carefully turn the chair back on its legs but do not sit on it while the chair is wet since the oils in the cleaner can stain your clothes. Clean the back, arms and seat with the wood cleaner. The seat will dry to a smooth no-staining finish. You do not have to worry about the oils in the cleaner coming off on your clothes after the chair is dry. Clean all of the surfaces thoroughly.

• Get the supplies you will need. • You should use the rag cloth first. • Pass it over and around the chair. • Make sure you clean off the dust. • Clean off any easily accessible stains. • Next you will spray on the chair any anti-bacterial brand that you have will work. • Spray the anti-bacterial spray as much as you want. • Let it sit on the chair for a while. • Give it about 10 minutes or more before you wipe it off. • Use the same rag cloth to wipe away the spray. • Grab a bucket and fill it with water. • Dip the rag cloth in the water. • Wash off the remaining suds from the spray. • Make sure you clean under the legs of the chair, the tip. • Grab paper towels and dry off the chair. • Feel free to soak the rag in the water and repeat the steps. If it is a finished chair, put on some wax or finishing oil that will help keep it in good shape.
