How Do You Clean An Aluminum Window Frame With Borax?
Borax is a natural product, containing boron, sodium, water and oxygen, that has been used as a cleaning product for a very long time. It is commonly known as a laundry additive; however, it has been used for a variety of other household cleaning chores. Because this product is nonabrasive, it is suitable for many surfaces, including aluminum pots and pans. In addition, borax is easy to use on aluminum window frames and, unlike some other cleaners, gives off no fumes. Use a clean, dry paintbrush or dusting cloth to remove loose dust and debris from the window frame. Put on rubber gloves. Dampen a clean cloth in warm water. Sprinkle a small amount (half a teaspoon or less) of borax on the damp cloth. Begin scrubbing the top of the aluminum window frame.
