How Do You Clean Artificial Plants With Windex?

Air duster cans (like you use to clean electronics) work great too!  If you give them a couple of blasts on a regular basis, you can keep them clean without having to wash each individual leaf and petal.

This is the easiest way to clean artificial plants. Windex Original with Ammonia D is not just for windows. It is able to clean artificial plants restoring them to their original luster. I’ve been using this trick for years. It is especially helpful after a drywall repair or remodeling project that has caused a lot of indoor dust. Use it to freshen your seasonal floral pieces as well. Remove artificial plants to the outdoors. Dust them gently with your feather-type duster. Test to see that the foliage is colorfast by spraying Windex Original with Ammonia D on a test area. Proceed by spraying the entire plant if it passes the colorfast test. Allow to dry in a sunny area for 15-30 minutes. See the difference for yourself. These artificial plants are almost 10 years old.
