Most smokers don't even notice the effect that smoke has on walls until they move a picture or piece of furniture that has been covering the wall and can visually see the discoloration. Tar and nicotine can leave an unpleasant stain on walls that turns the an unsightly yellow color. Cigarette smoke stains are easy to remove from walls with some time and effort. There are several proven methods that can change yellowed walls back to white. Dampen a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and wipe the stains off the walls. You may need to add more water and depending on how big the stained area is it may take more than one Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water in a spray bottle and spray the stained area. Let it sit on the stained area for about a minute and wipe it away with a clean dry cloth.
