Cleaning blinds of any kind is never a fun enterprise, but household dust can build up quickly and be very noticeable. Fabric blinds are easy to clean and it can be a speedy process with a few simple household tools. Step 1 Use your hose and its small brush or suction attachment to vacuum each blade from top to bottom, starting at one side of your blind and working across to the other end. If your blinds are made of fabric on both sides of the blade, vacuum both sides. If you do not have a vacuum with an adjustable hose or attachments start at Step 2. Step 2 With damp lint-free clean cloth wrung nearly dry, gently wipe down the fabric fronts, folding to find a clean spot, rinsing and re-wringing your cloth as it gets soiled. Finish all the fronts, working your way across the blind. Step 3 Wipe down the backside of each blade with the same process.
