How Do You Clean Gum From A Dryer?

0

Cleaning gum that is attached to your dryer can be a frustrating undertaking. However, with a few household items, you can remove the sticky substance from your dryer in a short amount of time. Remove everything from the dryer. Rotate the drum so that the gum is on the bottom. If you have multiple spots where there is gum, choose one spot to start with and then repeat the process on each of the spots. Soak a dryer sheet in water for about 20 to 30 seconds. Remove the dryer sheet from the bowl and lay it on the gum spot in the dryer. Leave it there for about 10 minutes. Use the dryer sheet to rub the gum off of the drum of the machine. It should come off relatively easily, but for any gum that remains repeat the process. If you still are having problems, soak the dryer sheet in fabric softener or laundry detergent, and then repeat the previous steps.
