Cleaning hard water stains on stainless steel can be as simple as cleaning your shower. Which is not always that easy, but in this case it is. I first discovered this problem when my water dispenser on the door of my stainless steel refrigerator began to accumulate hard water stains. Not good. I knew I had to find a solution, and so I did. Read on. Spray shower cleaner on stainless steel item. Make sure to avoid contact with food items. Let stand for several minutes scrub or brush gently to see if shower cleaner has done it’s job in removing hard water stains. It is easy to tell if it is working but may need a few more minutes. Once you have brushed away hard water stains, rinse and apply regular dishsoap to thouroughly remove any remnants of shower cleaner. Rinse thouroughly and you should see a shiny reflection!
