How Do You Clean In An Environmentally Friendly Green Way?
Instead of using hazardous or toxic chemicals in your household cleaning you can substitute an ordinary non-toxic household chemical and clean your house in a green manner. If your house or apartment has a cement slab that is painted you can repaint it in a way so that the paint lasts longer. Hose the cement off, wait until it is dry and then scrub it with white vinegar. When it is completely dry, it is ready for painting and the paint will actually last longer before flaking. White vinegar can also be used to clean clogged drains. Simply pour some ordinary baking soda into the drain and then add white vinegar, and you will see the mixture bubble up and free the clog. Also keep a spray bottle of white vinegar in the car. It can be sprayed on the inside of the windshield to clear the “fog” off of it that sometimes builds up from smoke or other contaminants. To clean windows or mirrors, mix up some white vinegar in a bottle with a little bit of water.
