How Do You Clean Jets In A Spa Tub?

0

This is a little time consuming but it’ll get your jets real nice and clean. I actually came up with this one day when I was trying to figure out how I could get them cleaned. I do this about every 3 months, cause we use the spa alot. But clean them regularly so you don’t get stuck having to replace the jets. First you need to fill the spa with real hot water. Make sure the jets are emerged by at least a several inches. Now add about 1 and 1/2 cups of the chlorine bleach and about a 1/2 cup of the dishwasher detergent. Run the spa for at least 20 minutes. Then let it sit for about 25 minutes and then drain it. Then refill the spa with cold water and make sure the jets are emerged again. Turn on the jets for about 7 minutes and then drain.
