How Do You Clean Lincoln Mark VIII Headlights?
Cleaning headlights on a Lincoln Mark VIII isn’t any different than cleaning headlights on any other car. This very important chore helps to keep to keep the lenses clear to aid in visibility for the driver. Clean the headlights as soon as dirt has built up on them, not only for the aesthetics of the vehicle but for safety as well. There are several easy methods that will restore the headlights to a pristine condition. Apply white toothpaste to a soft clean cloth and wipe the entire lens with it. Rinse the toothpaste away with clean water and buff the lens to shine with a soft clean cloth. Use a dry clean cloth to apply a rubbing compound to the lens. Use a separate clean cloth to buff the shine back. Spay carburetor cleaner on a soft clean cloth and wipe the lens. Use a separate dry clean cloth to buff the shine back. Polish the lens with a soft clean cloth sprayed with WD-40. Drill a small hole in the bottom of the lens to alleviate condensation which can fog up the lens.
