How Do You Clean Mold With Vinegar?
If you’ve discovered a nasty mold problem, you may be tempted to get out the big guns. However, it isn’t necessary to spend a lot of money on expensive, dangerous chemical products because most forms of mold can nearly always be removed with plain vinegar. Although it may seem like an old-fashioned folk remedy, vinegar really does work, and best of all, it’s a green solution, perfectly harmless to the environment, people and pets. Fill a spray bottle with distilled white vinegar. The vinegar needs to be used full strength, so don’t water it down. Spray the vinegar lightly on the moldy area. Don’t spray so much that it drips. Leave the vinegar on the mold for at least an hour; then wipe the area with water and allow it to air dry. Be sure to wear rubber gloves.
