How Do You Clean Motor Filters On A Bissell Vacuum?
The Bissell CleanView Bagless vacuum cleaner is a powerful yet economical carpet and rug vacuum cleaner. To help the vacuum work as efficiently as possible the unit relies on both a pre-motor filter to protect the motor from dirt and a post-motor filter which helps to filter the air before it is returned into your room. For best cleaning results, you should check these filters on a regular basis and clean them as necessary. Turn the Bissell CleanView Bagless vacuum cleaner off. Unplug the vacuum from the electrical outlet. Slide the pre-motor filter tray, located beneath the dirt container, straight out. Remove the pre-motor filter from the tray. Place the pre-motor filter under cold, running water. Wash the filter gently with a small amount of mild detergent. Rinse the filter until it is free of all dirt, dust, grime and soap.
