Just follow these steps to restore your shower head to its pristine condition. Remove the shower head from the pipe supporting it. Most shower heads can simply be unscrewed and removed by hand by twisting them to the left. Others may require the use of a wrench to remove. Find a glass or plastic container that is just slightly bigger around than the shower head and put the shower head in the container. Pour white vinegar over it until the nozzles are completely covered. Then remove the shower head and pour the vinegar into a saucepan.
