How Do You Clean & Polish Chrome Trim Rings?
Cleaning and polishing chrome trim rings is part of basic maintenance and auto detailing. Use special chrome polish to prevent damaging the trim on your vehicle. Chrome should be cleaned every month–at least–especially if the trim is exposed to the elements. If it is on the inside of your vehicle, clean the chrome when it starts to look dull. Wash the chrome trim rings with soap and water using a sponge to remove any debris and dirt. Dry the trim with a lint-free towel. Apply chrome trim polish with an applicator and rub it into the chrome well. Buff the chrome with a shop rag until the chrome is shiny.
