Porcelain coated cast iron pans are durable, perfect for cooking nearly anything and are easy to clean. Unlike bare cast iron, soaking these pans in soapy water won’t harm them. Due to the protective porcelain coating, these pans will not rust and don’t have to be seasoned. You’ll need to be gentle with the pans–porcelain coatings can chip–but other than that, cleaning these pans is typically easier than cleaning stainless steel, aluminum or bare cast iron pans.
