You buy a new dishwasher and it looks good for a while and then, over time, the interior’s color begins to change. It gets darker and darker in there, so you buy a product that claims to clean out the rust, and it does. Problem is, the rust comes right back. Below is a guide to clean off the rust and the underlying layer of minerals that attract the rust. Put on your gloves and apply a small amount of the cleaning product to the moistened sponge. Then simply wipe the sponge onto the stains. The idea here is not to remove the stains at this point, but to coat them. They should look darker.
